AUBURNDALE, WI (OnFocus) – HART Equine Therapeutic Center, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with special needs through equine-assisted services, is proudly celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of inspiring events scheduled throughout 2025.
Since opening its doors in December 2013, HART (Horses And Riders Together) has served individuals of all ages and economic backgrounds through programs that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. By offering therapeutic horseback riding, grooming sessions, and groundwork activities, HART has become a sanctuary for those overcoming life’s many challenges.

This NCWHA-approved Open Pleasure Show highlights the heart and hard work of riders from across the region. Sponsorship opportunities are available for those looking to support HART’s mission.
Annual Student Show

A heartwarming showcase celebrating the progress of HART’s students. Community members are invited to witness firsthand the transformative power of equine therapy.
Horseshoes & High Stakes for HART
November 14 | Hotel Marshfield, Marshfield, WI
An evening of excitement and generosity, this casino night fundraiser invites attendees to enjoy games, entertainment, and the chance to support a meaningful cause. Sponsorship packages are available.
“Our mission is to share the benefits of equine therapeutic activities through basic horsemanship and education,” said Kim Sievers, Founder and Executive Director of HART. “Through HART, individuals with challenges or special needs gain confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment that carries into all areas of life.”
The impact of HART is evident in the stories of its participants. One young rider’s family shared that HART gave their daughter a newfound confidence and a place where she feels she truly belongs — “a home away from home.”
