Division 2 might be the most compelling division this year, with very different styles of football clashing at Camp Randall. West De Pere comes into the game as the best passing team in the state, and Notre Dame comes in with the top rusher in the state.

Sports OnFocus will have a live audio broadcast of this game, along with full highlights and photo coverage.

Notre Dame is looking for back-to-back state championships, and their 4th overall, after winning the Division 3 title last season.

Again, they come into this game with the state’s leading rusher, just as they did last season with Christian Collins.

Senior quarterback Max Peirce has gone 49/77 for 953 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. His main target is Cooper Aitken, who caught 21 passes for 401 yards and 3 touchdowns.

West De Pere makes its 6th trip to a state championship game, looking for its 3rd state title and first since 2011.

West De Pere needed some late heroics to get here, with Ryan Lutz scoring a game-tying touchdown with 19 seconds left in the game. Maverick Lor kicked the extra point to give the Phantoms a 35-34 win.

The Phantoms are led by quarterback Patrick Greisen, who completed 246/357 passes for 3560 yards, 47 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. He ranks statewide in total touchdowns (4th), passing touchdowns (1st), passing yards (1st), offensive yards (1st), passing completions (1st), and passing attempts (1st).

Ryan Lutz has had a strong campaign as well, which sometimes can get lost in the passing numbers, carrying the ball 236 times for 1842 yards and 26 touchdowns.
