The Auburndale Eagles Softball Team moved back into a tie at the top of the Marawood South with a 7-3 win over Stratford.
Auburndale was led at the plate by Daelynn Blomberg, who went 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Taylor Anderson hit two sacrifice flies for 2 RBI.
Morgan Griesbach went the distance, giving up 3 runs, 1 earned, on 10 hits and 3 strikeouts.
Stratford was led at the plate by Dakota Knetter, who went 3-3 with 2 RBI. Tria Tubbs went 2-4 with a run scored.
Tubbs also started, going 5 innings, giving up 7 runs, 5 earned, on 6 hits, 4 walks, and 1 strikeout. Laney Pankratz pitched one shutout inning.
Auburnale moves up into a tie for the Marawood South title with Assumption, both sit at 7-1
Auburndale next hosts Edgar on Tuesday. Stratford hosts Assumption on Tuesday.
