Abbotsford (OnFocus) – The Auburndale Girls played their third game of the week, and improved to 3-0 in the Marawood with a 79-35 thumping of Abbotsford.
The Eagles had a 47-22 advantage at the half and pushed their lead to 40 and the ensuing running clock with just under 8 minutes to go in the game.
Four Eagles scored in double figures, led by Kaitlyn Kundinger’s 16 points and 12 rebounds. Giorgi Schmutzer had 13 points, Hailey Grimm 12, and Victoria Hasenohrl had 11 points.
Lauren Peplinski and Grimm each had four steals for Auburndale.
The Eagles connected on 6 of 13 three pointers.
Catie Clement led Abbotsford with 8 points.
