The Athens Bluejay Softball team lost a non-conference game at Wausau East on Monday, 11-6
Athens was led at the plate by D Diethelm, who went 2-4 with a double and an RBI. A Diethelm went 1-3 with a walk and an RBI.
J Switlick got the start, going the distance, giving up 11 runs, 4 earned, on 10 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts.
Athens next hosts Colby/Abby on Tuesday.
