Marshfield Middle School Science Bowl competed in the state tournament on Feb. 9 at UW-Madison.
The three teams participating all went farther in the competition than any previous MMS team has gone before. A team including Izzy Ikobe, Brady Duerr, Ryan Will, and Jake Schilling made it to the seventh round. Another including Dillon Scheuer, Ellie Jensen, Phoebe Hernandez, and Ruhi Shah advanced to the ninth round and secured a 4th place finish.
The team of Sonia Dissanayake, Richard Gui, Aleena Varghese, Aran Tripathi, and Maahir Patel advanced to round eleven and earned second place silver medals.
