Local Athlete Expected to Score 1000th Career Point This Weekend

Tyler Fuerlinger came just short of scoring his 1000th career point for the Dons in Marshfield Columbus’ 79-50 win over the Spencer Rockets last night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Tyler led the team with 31 points, leaving him 6 short of 1000 for his Don’s career. Also leading the Dons were Nick Malovrh with 17 points and Hunter Schultz with 16 points.

Spencer was led by Noah Zastrow (18 points) and Jack Bezlyk (12 points and 10 rebounds).

Fuerlinger’s next opportunity will be this Saturday at the WI-MN Border Battle Tournament in Apple Valley, MN where the Dons will face Springfield, MN. The game starts at 10:00AM and will be broadcast on AM 1450 WDLB with the pregame starting at 9:45AM.

(Keep an eye on Marshfield’s Ema Fehrenbach, who is nearing her 1000th career point, too!)
