Wood County Sheriff’s Department Introduces New K9

Wood County (OnFocus) – Wood County Sheriff’s Department’s introduced their new K9, Timo, today.

Deputy Justus Arendt picked him out yesterday from Jessiffany Canine Services. Arendt will start his training with Timo this fall.

“We are very impressed by Jessiffany Canine Services, great training facility for law enforcement K9 training,” the department said in a social media post. “We want to thank everyone for their continued support of the Sheriff’s Department and our K9 Unit.”

Deputy Arendt and his Timo are expected to begin patrolling Wood County later this fall.
