Over the last three years in our area there were a total of 742 speed related crashes reported, resulting in 4 fatalities and 260 injuries.

Enforcement efforts will be directed on all State Highways in Wood County (State Highways 13, 34, 54, 66, 73, 80, 97, 173, and 186) and US Highway 10. The focus will be during high traffic time frames when traffic crashes are more likely to occur. The first coordinated enforcement date began June 28, 2021.

All Wood County agencies are reminding motorists to slow down, buckle up and help make summer travel safe for everyone in Wisconsin.
