Wood County Health Department Inspections Identify Violations in Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids Food Establishments

Wisconsin Rapids (OnFocus) – The latest results from inspections by the Wood County Health Department  on licensed food establishments show violations in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids businesses.

Wisconsin Rapids

» Jim’s Barb-ie-Q Shack, 3940 Eighth St. S.: Aug. 4: No violations.

» Pasquale’s, 2930 S. Eighth St.: Aug. 27: Two violations: Ready-to-eat meatballs and ham slices stored under eggs (corrected during inspection); bleach test kit not available for checking sanitizer concentration.

» Rocky Rococo, 1841 Eighth St. S.: Aug. 25: Three violations: Seasonings in shakers not labeled; large mixer not maintained in good repair; dead ants under buffet (corrected during inspection).

» Tri-City Golf Course, 3000 Golf Course Road: Aug. 25: No violations.

» Jamaican Kitchen, 208 S. Chestnut Ave.: Aug. 17: Three violations: Hand-washing sink not available for proper hand washing; no single-use towels or hand-drying device available at hand-washing sink (corrected during inspection); countertop by left sink cracked and not easily cleanable.

» Taco Bell No. 31836, 1410 Central Ave.: Aug. 28: No violations.

» World Buffet, 503 Ives St.: Aug. 25: Five violations: Improper cooling method used on taco meat; various cooking spices and broth stored in unlabeled containers; floor near walk-in freezer and delivery entrance not smooth and easily cleanable; delivery door open and has no screen; no hand-washing sign at employee hand-wash sink (corrected during inspection).
