Jacob Rosenkranz

Hey Rafters fans It’s Griffin here. For those of you who don’t know. 2023 Rafter, Jacob Rosenkranz was hit in the head with a baseball during practice at Missouri Baptist College in late September. Jacob fractured his skull and was taken to the hospital immediately. Jacob has been making great progress since the incident and over the last couple of months has seen great results from therapy. Jacob has had tremendous support from his family, friends, and teammates. The Rafters community has certainly shown their support to Jacob by showing their care and compassion to him and his family.

Jacob is scheduled to have an operation to repair his skull on Wednesday, December 13th. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with Jacob and his family.

Jacob was a key part of the Rafter’s pitching staff. He was one of the four All-Stars the Rafters sent to Traverse City. Jacob had 41 IP throughout the season with an ERA of 3.07. In those 41 IP Jacob struck out 25 and walked just 8 batters!
Here in the Rafters front office, we wish nothing but the best for Jacob and his family. We also are praying for a speedy and healthy recovery.
