Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Names New Head Baseball Coach: Justin Pyan
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WIS. – Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln is pleased to announce
the hiring of Justin Pyan as the new Varsity Baseball Coach.
Justin is a graduate of Merrill High School and received his undergraduate
degree from UW Stevens Point in Mathematics Education. In the past 5 years at
Lincoln, Justin continued his coaching career as part of multiple programs,
including the baseball program, where he started as the JV2 head coach, and for
the past two seasons, has been the varsity pitching coach. He also joined the
Wisconsin Rapids Legion Baseball Coaching Staff last year, as the 17U head
coach.
Coach Pyan is currently a math teacher at Lincoln High School.
In addition to coaching baseball, coach Pyan is also an assistant football and
basketball coach.
“I am honored to be the next head coach in a community and a baseball program
with so much baseball history and tradition. I am excited about the opportunity to
lead our student-athletes and to represent Lincoln High School and our
community.”
The Lincoln High School Athletic Department is excited about
what Coach Pyan will bring to the baseball program. He is an
incredibly motivated, high-integrity person who is committed
to success and building strong relationships with our
student-athletes, school and community. We are confident he
will continue to build our baseball program.
