Wisconsin Rapids Falls to Top Ranked Muskego

Wisconsin Rapids(OnFocus) – For Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln football team, the opening game of the 2021 season would serve as a litmus test for the Red Raiders’ fortunes this season. Visiting Rapids was #1 ranked Muskego, and the Red Raiders stayed tight with the visitors before falling 21-7.

Muskego held a 14-0 lead at the half before Rapids fought back. Caden Sengbusch connected with Austin Junemann on a 44 yard strike to pull Rapids within a touchdown, 14-7.

The Raiders were held at bay the rest of the way, and Muskego added a 4th quarter touchdown to seal the win.

Leo Brostowitz led Rapids with 91 yards on 15 carries.
