CENTRAL WI, WI (OnFocus) – The 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard will conduct evening training flights across Central Wisconsin as part of a scheduled readiness exercise. The flights are set for Wednesday and Thursday, November 12–13, and Monday through Friday, November 17–20.

Residents in the military training airspace may see or hear F-35 aircraft operating until approximately 8 p.m. during these dates. While training typically occurs during daylight hours, the unit is required to conduct nighttime operations to maintain proficiency in all mission environments.

Flight crews and maintenance personnel will use flight paths designed to limit noise disruption for local communities. The Wisconsin Air National Guard expressed appreciation for the continued support from residents in Wisconsin and the greater Madison area as they carry out training essential to both state and federal missions.

The 115th Fighter Wing emphasized that these exercises are necessary for maintaining operational readiness and ensuring that pilots and crews are fully prepared for real-world missions.
