Winter Weather Advisory – Dec. 9

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory which will remain in effect until 6 p.m. Monday evening, Dec. 9.

A freezing drizzle forming a light glaze will linger through mid-morning and slowly turn to snow. The snow is expected to fall moderately at times this afternoon and end in early evening. Total snow accumulation is 1-3 inches in portions of central and northeast Wisconsin.

Slippery road conditions may impact both morning and evening commutes.

The advisory includes the cities of Wausau, Shawano, Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Plover, New London, Waupaca, Clintonville, Redgranite, and Wautoma.
