In celebration of Winter Sports Officials Week, Coach TJ Robinson of Tri-County High School provided this open letter out to all area officials:

To all the officials,

Thank you for your night in and night out work.  I was in your sport for 7 years prior to becoming a coach and I know what it takes to be an official.  Without you all in this game, our games every day could not go on.  We strive to make sure your environment at our school is a positive reflection on our school, and when you see our school on your contract, you want to come back.
From the long drives on snowy roads to the hot games in the summertime it does not go unnoticed.
To the sacrifice you take every night of being away from family and loved ones, thank you.
To constantly keep your cool and composure in the heat of the game, thank you.
To helping my athletes learn the game better with every call that is made and explaining it to them, thank you.
To putting up with coaches, athletes, and spectators who make it hard to officiate, thank you.
This should be a daily thing you all hear, but just know that you are appreciated and noticed.
Thank you for all you do.
Coach TJ Robinson
Tri-County School
