‘What Kids Are Reading,’ Annual Report from Renaissance, Includes Sports Books

Wisconsin Rapids (OnFocus) – Sports books are among the favorite books of students in the annual report from Renaissance Learning, What Kids Are Reading 2020.

The report breaks down the most popular books students in grades K-12 are reading, as monitored by Renaissance Learning’s software products, including Accelerated Reader.

Sports books making the list, as nonfiction top choices, by grade level:

  • Muhammad Ali: American Champion (7th)
  • Chicago Bulls (7th)
  • Jackie Robinson: Baseball’s Great Pioneer (8th)
  • Golden State Warriors (8th)
  • Brain Injuries in Football (12th)
