MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Weiler Convenience Stores in Marshfield are selling specially designed t-shirts to raise funds for local animal welfare organizations Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) and the Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation.

“Our local shelters do so much and are always in need of donations,” said Kelly Weiler, owner. “Our t-shirt fundraiser has been a great success in the past and we wanted to bring it back again this holiday season.”

She added that being locally-owned, she enjoys giving back to the community where she lives and works.

“We’re part of this community and want to help where we can,” she said. “These make great gifts!”

Featuring bright colors and the slogan “You Can’t Buy Love but You Can Rescue It”, the shirts were designed by local graphic designer Kaylan Petrie and printed at Premier Printing.

All funds raised will go directly to the rescues, with Weiler having donated all costs of the shirts. T-Shirts are $20, sweatshirts are $38.

“We’re so grateful to Weiler’s and the community for always supporting our animals in need,” said Karen Rau, MAPS Executive Director. “All funds will go towards fueling our life-saving mission, which we couldn’t do with this support.”

The Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation is dedicated to providing qualified homes for any horse in need. It is their goal to make certain that every horse placed in their care is provided with all the necessary ingredients for a safe and happy life, and that it is also protected from those who would do it harm.
