Wausau Police Looking for At-Large Man

WAUSAU, WI (OnFocus) – The Wausau Police Department put out a notice that they are looking for a man who is charged with First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.

UPDATE: Johnson turned himself in to police on Nov. 30.

Robert Edward Johnson Jr., 44, reached his mandatory release date on August 31, 2021. He was placed in transitional housing near the Marathon County Courthouse and was under supervision of local sex offender agent specialists.

Johnson tampered with his Global Positioning System device and his whereabouts are unknown.

Johnson is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’11” and about 240 pounds. He may be driving a 2004 Black Ford Crown Victoria with a license plate number of ANN-6176.
