Marshfield (OnFocus) – According to police reports, around 12:26pm Marshfield Clinic staff advised one unmasked visitor that a mask would be required while on the premises.

According to Clinic staff, one defendant was actively filming with their phone while inside the Marshfield Clinic. After advising that this was against clinic policy, the defendant stopped filming but resumed filming later.

Police arrived and advised defendant to either leave the premises or put on a mask. The defendant refused to wear a mask and refused to leave. After told they were being cited for disorderly conduct, the defendant initially refused to provide contact information. During contact, the defendant were boisterous and loud, passively and actively refusing to cooperate with clinic staff and officers, according to the report.

This afternoon, the defendant were seen in the right-of-way, protesting mask-wearing and their citation.

One sign stated: “Denied my const. right, amend I: Exempt for religious reasons: Not to wear a mask” and, on the reverse side, “MPD Falseley cited me 4 Trespassing & Disorderly Conduct.”

The other sign stated: “Forced masking/Freedom died/Freedom denied/My body, my choice only works for killing babies in the womb/I can’t breathe.”
