Submitted to OnFocus – MADISON, Wis. – Frank’s Piggly Wiggly (3238 W Main St.) in East Troy of Walworth County is no stranger to selling winning Lottery tickets. Two $50,000 Powerball® prizes were won at this lucky spot in the March 10, 2021 drawing. Three months earlier, Frank’s sold a winning Megabucks™ ticket, worth $1.4 Million annuity, $1.1 Million cash. Jessica Eickman of East Troy claimed that jackpot-winning ticket from the December 16, 2020 drawing.
“We’re happy to sell big winning tickets and plan to keep doing so,” said Frank’s Piggly Wiggly co-owner Steve Lueptow. “Guess we’re the lucky place to buy Lottery!”
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a 2 percent incentive up to $100,000. Piggly Wiggly will receive $2,000 for selling the two $50,000 prizes.

The overall odds of winning a Powerball prize are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the $50,000 prize for matching 4 of 5 numbers plus the Powerball are 1 in 913,130. Powerball drawings are Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday to be included in that day’s drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play with the option to purchase the Power Play feature for an additional dollar which could increase potential winnings.
The odds of winning the Megabucks jackpot are 1 in 6,991,908. Megabucks drawings are Wednesday and Saturday. Each set of two plays cost $1 per draw. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday to be included in that day’s drawing.
