Today is the last day that the City Clerk can mail you an absentee ballot, and you must request one in writing. This can be done by signing up at myvote.wi.gov or by emailing [email protected].

“If you want a ballot mailed to you, you have to request it in writing by 5:00pm today,” said Deb Hall, City of Marshfield Clerk. “Ballots must be returned by April 13, by 4:00pm.”

When requesting a ballot, include name, address where you are registered, mailing address (if different), and the election you are requesting. Please also include a phone number in case the office has questions. Also include a copy of your photo ID.

“We have issued over 3300 absentee ballots already,” said Hall. “We are also working on the May 12 election because that’s right around the corner.”

In-office voting is taking place from until 5:00pm today at City Hall, and the polls will still be open on election day Tuesday. For more information, read our full guide here.
