MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Soup or Socks Food Pantry in Marshfield can earn extra funds from Thrivent Financial for all items donated by July 24. For each donated item, Thrivent will donate $3, up to $3,000. This is part of Thrivent “Cans” Hunger, sponsored by local Thrivent Member Networks.
The following are items that are needed at the pantry:
- Jelly
- Mayonnaise/Miracle Whip
- Lasagna Noodles
- Graham Crackers
- Hershey Bars
- Alfredo Sauce
- Pesto Sauce
- Parmesan Cheese
- Stuffing
- Broth
Donations can be dropped off at the Marshfield Thrivent office located at 2001 S Central Ave, Suite I. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 9:30 am to Noon. There are also collection sites at Weiler Convenience Store (2005 N Central), First Presbyterian Church (200 S Lincoln), and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshfield (502 W McMillan).
