MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – After a busy workweek, there’s nothing like an event or two to relax and enjoy the weekend. If you’re still looking for something to do this weekend, we have you covered! Here’s some of our suggestions:

  1. CHRISTMAS IN JULY SHOPPING EVENT WITH THE FARMER’S WIFE (Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) – From the Facebook event: “Come shop all our home décor during our first annual Christmas in July shopping event! We will have lots of pre-made signs that you can take with that day AND you will be able to see a lot of our personalized options that you can order!
This event will be located at my home in the shop where everything is made. Come check out my laser and see where all the fun happens! My address is 11205 Park Rd, Marshfield.
Not familiar with my items – check out my website! www.thefarmerswifewi.com
I hope to see you all there!”
  2. MINOCQUA WOOD DUCKS AT MARSHFIELD CHAPARRALS DAIRYLAND BASEBALL (SUNDAY @ 1:30 p.m.) – The Marshfield Chaparrals will look to close out their season in a strong way as they have four league games left until playoffs. The Chaps currently sit in third place in the Dairyland League just two games back of league-leading Everest Merchants. The Wood Ducks come in in second place in the Dairyland League and are a half a game up on the Chaps. The game will be sponsored by Tails of the Hunt and admission is free for all.
  3. TAYLOR COUNTY FAIR (FRIDAY – SUNDAY) – The Taylor County Fair will be rolling through Medford, WI this weekend. The fun kicks off with NTPA truck and tractor pulls on Friday night starting at 7:30 p.m. Other events include animal showing, demo derby, a carnival and much more. A full list of events and times can be found at http://witaylorcountyfair.com/.
