MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The unofficial end of summer is here! Labor Day weekend marks not only the end of the summer vacation season, but also in some cases an extended weekend. Here’s our picks of what’s going on in the area over the weekend:
- BOOGIE & THE YOYOZ @ TIKI BEACH BAR AND GRILL (Saturday) – We are sending off the 2021 summer with a bang! We are super excited to announce Boogie and the Yoyo’s will be rocking the beach!! Get your dancing sandals on and join us! The band will begin at 6:30 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m.
- RIVERFRONT JAZZ FESTIVAL (Saturday and Sunday) – This free family event will showcases fantastic musicians from around the nation all performing for your entertainment. Come join us to experience world class music live performances here at Riverfront, Stevens Point. Music begins at 3 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m. with food available for purchase on site.
- MARSHFIELD AREA AVIATION, ROCKETRY AND SPACEFLIGHT CLUB INTRO MEETING (Saturday) – Check out our new club for your kids! We are excited to announce the Brand New Marshfield Area Aviation, Rocketry and Spaceflight Club!
Join us for an information meeting on Sept 4 at 6 p.m. Discovery Education Station 248 S Central Ave. Club membership fee will be announced before or at the informational meeting.
