MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – It is officially fall and we’ve got some awesome area events to celebrate the beginning of the season. Check our our list of favorites:

  2. FELTZ’S FALL FEST (Saturday) – Join the Feltz Family Farm in Stevens Point for a Fall Fest full of wonderful activities! The event will begin at 11 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. Activities include:
    -2 Corn Mazes with Scavenger Hunts
    -Live Music from Southbound
    -Small Animal Petting Zoo
    -Food Trucks
    -FFA Beer Tent
    -Kettle Corn
    -Bounce House
    -Wagon Rides
    -Kids’ Bale Maze
    -Tricycle Track
    -Pumpkins
    -And much more!
  3. MARSHFIELD COMMUNITY COLOR RUN (Saturday) – The Grant Elementary PTO will be hosting the Marshfield Area Community Color Run at Frey Field on Sept. 26. The run is a one-mile run/walk and provides participants with messy fun as they are splattered with non-toxic, colored corn starch throughout the run.The cost of the event is $25 for the run/walk and a shirt, $20 with just the run/walk and no shirt or $15 for just a t-shirt. Toddlers three and younger can also run for free. There is a $100 maximum registration cost for immediate families of five or more. All proceeds go towards the Grant Elementary PTO.Runners and walkers will be assigned a wave to run in to avoid large groups of people showing up at the color stations at the same time and help with social distancing. Waves will be assigned at registration. The Grant Elementary PTO encourages participants to dress up with costumes, wigs and anything else wacky to make it a fun event.A packet of color will be supplied for an after party run with a 1 Mile or 5K Registration. You are welcome to purchase additional color packets for the after party. Packet pickup is from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Sept. 26 at Frey Field.

    Refreshments will be available for purchase on-site.

  4. FAMILY FIREWORKS EVENT (Saturday) – The event kicks off on Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Downtown Wausau Airport! Activities include: train rides, bounce houses, photo booth, balloon artists, hula hoops and fire throwing demonstrations, sensory items/activities, fireworks themed crafts and more! In addition, there will be live music, 10+ food vendors, a beer tent and the area’s LARGEST fireworks show at dusk! Bring a chair and gather your family & friends for a great evening!
