MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The leaves are changing and falling making for a great opportunity to get out and head to area events. Here’s our suggestions:

  1. HOWL-OWEEN AT THE ZOO (Saturday) –  Join Wildwood Zoo Saturday, October 9th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.!
Come dressed in your favorite costume for a spook-tacular time.
$5 per participant – each participant will receive a reusable tote bag for all the goodies you will find around the zoo.
Entering at the gate by the park, you will encounter games, educational signs, animals, candy & fun items, Discovery Education Station, food trucks, and more as you follow the designated path through the zoo. Visit a pumpkin patch ($5/pumpkin) in the
woods before exiting through the gate by the bear exhibit.
If you’re looking for a bit more fun, we’d love if you carved a pumpkin to decorate the zoo. We’ll be doing a judging of the pumpkins and have them on display around the zoo. You can drop the pumpkins off at the Ludwig Building (red building behind the bear exhibit) Friday, October 8th until 6pm.
    All proceeds benefit Wildwood Zoo.
  2. 1GOOSE PROMOTIONS CLEAN UP DEMO DERBY (Saturday) – One of the last events at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in 2021 will bring the thunder as the Clean Up Demo Derby will be in town. Last year, 102 cars hit the track! Come see what 2021 will have in store!! Trunk or Treat for the kids at 1:30! The event begins at 2 p.m. and will run until about 5 p.m.
