MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – There are only a few weekends left until the kids are back in school and life starts speeding back up! Enjoy these local events to help you slow the last bit of summer down:

  1. 13TH ANNUAL FAMILY FUN FEST (Saturday) – Join us for our 13th Annual Family Fun Fest, Car show and open house weekend! We have fun for the entire family! Last year we had over 150 cars, 35 craft and vendors, kids tent with fun activities, and food! We hope to beat that this year. If you are unable to attend in person, perhaps you would consider a donation! Head over to the event’s Facebook page for more information.
  2. PULLING FOR YOUTH HUNGER & HEALTH (Friday & Saturday) – This truck and tractor pull is sure to bring the energy on Friday and Saturday nights! The pulls will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday. The location is the Colby Puller’s Club Grounds at 705 E. Spence St. in Colby. Admission is free for those 12 years old and under all weekend and $10 for adults on Friday and $15 on Saturday.
  3. 21ST ANNUAL RIDE TO REMEMBER (Saturday) – Join us on August 21, 2021 for the 21st Annual Ride to Remember Motorcycle Ride. Every third weekend in August, dedicated motorcycle enthusiasts gather to honor POWs, KIA’s and MIAs, and support The Highground’s mission to Honor, Educate and Heal. The ride will begin at 9 a.m. starting at the Highground Memorial outside of Neillsville. Get route details and register online: https://bit.ly/RidetoRemember2021
