Teenage Girl Escapes Abduction Attempt in Waupaca County

On Sunday, July 28, 2019 at approximately 9:44pm; The Waupaca County Communications Center received a report of an abduction attempt on Otter Drive, near the Chain ‘O Lakes, Township of Farmington.

The 17 year old female victim explained that a dark colored crew cab pickup truck pulled up behind her as she was walking down the road. A white male described as approximately 6’2” tall, with a muscular build, exited the pickup truck and tried to force her into the back seat.

The victim was able to escape without injury, and the suspect and vehicle left the scene.
