April 5 Target Date Set for Return to In-Person Learning Full-Time

OnFocus – Students at Marshfield Middle School and Marshfield High School might be returning to full-time in-person learning as early as next month. Precautions, such as face coverings and social distancing, would remain in place for the foreseeable future.

“We are planning to continue monitoring things over the course of the next couple of weeks as we get closer to spring break week and wait until probably a week before spring break to finalize that plan,” Superintendent Ryan Christenson told the Board of Education last night. “When that is finalized and locked in we will put out a parent communication to confirm what those plans and intentions are.”

This would put students back in classrooms starting April 5, as a tentative target date. More information will be available in the upcoming weeks.
