Suspect in Custody After Vehicle and Foot Chase in Marshfield

OnFocus – On Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at about 0921, Spencer Police Department became involved in a pursuit of a vehicle that was reported stolen from the City of Marshfield.

Spencer Police Department pursued the vehicle south on STH 13 into the City of Marshfield. Once in the City of Marshfield, Marshfield officers took over the pursuit. The suspect fled to the 1700 block of N Peach Ave, where he fled from the vehicle on foot, and was apprehended in the 1700 block of N Apple Ave.

The suspect is a 36-year-old Fitchburg Wisconsin man. The man has outstanding warrants from Clark County for: 2nd Degree endangering safety: suffocation/strangulation, as well as for drug and driving offenses. Marshfield officers will be requesting charges for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Consent, Fleeing, OWi, Hit and Run, Resisting Arrest, and Felony Bail Jumping.
