Summer Update on City of Marshfield Street Projects

Summer Project Updates by Street Superintendent

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The City of Marshfield recently provided an update on current street projects:

Crack filling (Asphalt maintenance around town) Completed – will resume in fall weather permitting.

Reclamite (Asphalt rejuvenation maintenance): Contract signed and scheduled for late July to early August.

Crack filling (Concrete maintenance): To be scheduled.

Asphalt Mill-in-Place projects: Cleveland Cedar to Peach. Topsoil and trees removed. Sanitary sewer repairs scheduled for the week of 7/25. Ditching and tiling replacement to be scheduled.

Cedar – Grant to Doege: Topsoil and trees removed. Water service replacement completed. Gas company is scheduled for the week of 7/18. Ditching and tiling to be scheduled.

Hinman – Doege to Becker: Water main and services to be scheduled. Gas main replacement to be scheduled. Ditching and tiling to be scheduled.

McMillan – Lincoln to Western City Limits: Culvert replacement completed by Marathon County. Wing walls by city crew scheduled to start the week of 7/25. Ditching to be scheduled.

Chapel – Adams to N Hills: To be scheduled.

Jefferson – Schmidt to Cul-de-Sac: To be scheduled.

Doege – Willow to Hume: To be scheduled.

Balboa – 14th to 17th: Ditching and tile completed. Pulverizing completed. Fine grading completed. Asphalt pavement scheduled for the end of this week.

Apple – Doege to Becker: Concrete repairs complete. Gas company mainline installation in progress. Asphalt surface to be scheduled.

Grant – Peach to Cedar: Water Main completed. Sanitary extension and repairs completed. Road base reconstruction completed. Concrete repairs completed. Gas company is scheduled for the week of 8/18. Asphalt surface to be scheduled.

Franklin – Peach to Maple: Sanitary repairs and extension completed. Water main completed. Road base reconstruction scheduled for 7/11. Gas main to be scheduled.

Cherry – 1st to 2nd: To be scheduled.

Arlington – Columbus to Lincoln: Mainline sanitary sewer completed. Water main replacement schedule for 8/1. 21 sewer laterals to replace after the water main is completed.
