Barn Fire Northeast of Spencer On Friday
Spencer, WI (OnFocus) – Report of a structural fire on Frey Ave was called in at approximately 10:30 am on Friday, June 14. According to reports from WAOW, the barn was fully engulfed in flames when emergency services arrived, prompting a swift and intensive response.
The owners were not present at the time of the incident, and it remains uncertain if any animals were inside the structure when the fire broke out. Witnesses in neighboring communities reported seeing billows of smoke rising into the sky, with images circulating widely on social media platforms.
Regrettably, the barn has been completely destroyed, with the fire causing significant damage to the structure, as well as several vehicles and personal items that were stored inside. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and is currently under investigation by the authorities.
Firefighters continue to work diligently to contain the aftermath of the blaze and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.
