Street Superintendent Resigns, City Seeks Candidate

Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) The City of Marshfield is seeking candidates for the Street Superintendent position after the resignation of Dean Schiller.

Schiller started his position on March 1, 2018. His last day will be Jan. 10.

The matter will be addressed at the Dec. 17 Common Council meeting. An acting Street Superintendent will be appointed until a permanent replacement is found, likely in February.

The Street Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Street Division, including street maintenance, snow removal procedures, and refuse and recycling collection. The Street Superintendent also acts as City Weed Commissioner and works with the City Forester for City forestry projects.
