STRATFORD – The Stratford wrestling team won both ends of a double-dual meet on Thursday night, beating Auburndale 69-7 and Nekoosa 52-15.
Results from Auburndale’s match against Nekoosa were not reported.
Stratford won four matches by forfeit and seven by pin against Auburndale.
Earning pins for the Tigers were: Gavin Drexler at 113 pounds, Dillon Kirsch at 126, Max Schwabe at 132, Mav Liccardi at 145, Trevor Dennee at 182, Trevor Stiner at 195, and Dylan Schoenherr at 285.
Auburndale’s wins came from Noah Altmann, who won by major decision at 106 pounds, and Dylan Baird at 138.
Stratford also won four matches by forfeit against Nekoosa.
Earning pins for the Tigers were Kirsch at 126, Steiner at 195, and Cole Marten at 220.
Hunter Ford won by technical fall at 170 pounds as well for Stratford.
Stratford and Auburndale will both compete at the Bi-State Classic in La Crosse on Dec. 28-29.
