Stratford Tigers student/athletes, students, friends and families will flood Wisconsin’s east side on Friday.

SPORTSDESK – The day starts with Stratford Tigers girls volleyball, who are making their first trip to state in school history. They will play in a Division 3 State Semifinal at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI Friday at approximately 1:00 PM against Eau Claire Regis.

Both the Ramblers from Eau Claire Regis and the Tigers hold #1 seeds. The winner will take on the winner of Lake County Lutheran/Waterloo in the championship match scheduled for November 4th at 11:30am. Friday evening, Tiger Fans will travel 83 miles from Green Bay to Amherst, WI to cheer on their football team as the #5 seeded Tigers continue their own playoff match as they will take on the #2 seed Amherst Falcons. Stratford, who last week beat the #1 seed Stanley-Boyd Orioles 38-0, are two wins away from a trip to Madison. Amherst makes things difficult as their high powered offense has not been outmatched on their way to winning their last 9 games. The Tiger defense has only given up an average of 8 points per game in their last 6. You can watch this game via live stream right here on Focus On Marshfield. We will also bring you a post-game recap and highlights.
