The Stratford Tigers are making another trip to the WIAA Team State Wrestling Tournament with wins over Phillips and Saint Croix Falls.
The Tigers took down Phillips 64-10. Winning by decision for Stratford was Raife Smart (7-5) and Cole Marten (12-5); winning by major decision was Elija Lucio (12-0); winning by fall was Gavin Drexler, Max Schwabe, Konner Suttgen, Jacob Heiden, Devin Dennee, Trevor Dennee, and Beau Gross; Karter Stuttgen and Benno Wenzel won by forfeit.
The Tigers took down Saint Croix Falls 43-30 to go to state. Winners for Stratford included; Raife Smart by Decision, Elijah Lucio by Major Decision; Gavin Draxler, Max Schwabe, Jacob Heiden, Devin Dennee, and Trevor Dennee by Fall; and Hunter Ford by DQ.
Stratford will compete in the Division 3 state individual tournament on Saturday, March 7th, Semifinals at 10:00 AM, with the championship matches at 3:00 PM
