The area is arguably the hotbed of Division 5 Football, with four area teams in the state’s Top Ten: Amherst, Stratford, Colby, and Spencer/Columbus.
Amherst is #2, Stratford #3, Colby #6, and Spencer/Columbus #7.
Medford is ranked #3 in Division 3.
Division 7 is topped by Edgar, ranked #1.
DC Everest is ranked #5 in Division 1.
In 8 Man Football, Newman Catholic is ranked #3 and Auburndale is #5.
