Stratford baseball roughs up Rib Lake

STRATFORD – The Stratford baseball team finished its regular season with a 10-1 rout of Rib Lake in a nonconference game Tuesday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.

Ty Pankratz threw five strong innings for the Tigers (15-2) to earn the win, striking out three and allowing just the one run. Dawson Moen finished up with two hitless innings.

Eli Drexler had two hits, and Moen and Kade Ehrike each had two hits and two RBIs for the Tigers.

Stratford had 12 hits, six of which were doubles.

Riley Bauman also had two RBIs for Stratford

Stratford hosts Nekoosa in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
