Stratford baseball blasts Abbotsford/Colby

ABBOTSFORD – The Stratford baseball team scored multiple runs in all five of its at-bats to whip Abbotsford/Colby 20-2 in a nonconference game Friday at Red Arrow Park.

Stratford only had nine hits, but took advantage of eight Abbotsford/Colby errors and 10 walks to cruise to the win.

Chandler Schmidt and Ty Pankratz each had two hits, Kale Weisenberger had three RBIs, and Riley Bauman and Pankratz both drove in two runs for the Tigers (9-2).

Stratford hosts Auburndale on Tuesday and plays at Auburndale on Thursday.
