Stratford baseball blanks Mishicot

MAUSTON – Ty Pankratz and Dawson Moen combined on a four-hit shutout as the Stratford baseball team blanked Mishicot 10-0 on Saturday at Woodside Sports Complex.

Stratford scored single runs in the first and fourth innings, before erupting for three in the fifth and five more in the sixth to end the game via the 10-run rule.

Pankratz earned the win, striking out four and allowing three hits in five innings. Moen struck out two in a scoreless sixth.

Kade Ehrike had a triple and two RBIs, and Devyn Palmer added a triple and an RBI for the Tigers (2-1).

Matt Handrick, Moen and Chandler Schmidt each had RBIs as well for Stratford.

Stratford is off until Friday when it hosts Rib Lake.
