Subway in Spencer is set to close its doors next Monday, Dec. 17. It will remain open normal business hours (9-9pm.)
Subway staff learned of the upcoming closure about two weeks ago, a decision which occurred at the corporate level. However, it was not part of the 500 closures announced by Subway earlier this year as the chain expands internationally.
All staff will still have positions at Marshfield Subway locations, said the manager, adding that they will miss all of their loyal guests.
Spencer Subway is located at 100 S Pacific St.
