Welcome back to another school year at Spencer Middle/High School. We are excited to welcome our new staff to the building this year:

Staff and Student of the Month
This year we will be opening up nominations for staff and student of the month to the community. Please check our web page if you want to nominate a staff member or student to be recognized for their accomplishments.
Attention Alumni- “Where are they now?”
From time to time we want to highlight our alumni who have found success after high school. We will do this with a “Where Are They Now?” section on our Facebook page and webpage. If you know of a successful Spencer grad that you would like to nominate please like us on Facebook and find the link or find it on our web page.
Cell Phones
In an effort to reduce poor grades and cyberbullying and to increase classroom engagement and safety the school district has now banned cell phones from the classrooms. Students may not access their phones during instructional times. More information can be found on our website in the student handbook.
GoGuardian
In order to better monitor student engagement in the classroom the district will be using GoGuardian to monitor student chromebook use during class. The program will allow for teachers to view what the students are seeing on their chromebooks during instructional time.
Facebook Merger
To better inform our parents and community we are merging all of the individual schools’ Facebook accounts into one School District of Spencer account. Please follow this link and like this page to keep up on middle/high school at athletic news!

Parking
All students and adults that plan to park in the north parking lot during the school day must register all of their vehicles in the high school office. People will be issued a Spencer Rocket parking window cling with a serial number. The window cling should be displayed in the lower corner on the passenger side of the windshield.
