The voting for the OnFocus Athlete of the Week, December 26 – January 1 saw all five nominees garner over 140 votes, an impressive and rare occurrence in voting for top performers.

1,745 votes were cast, and collecting 607 votes to take the title of Athlete of the Week was Treyton Ackman of Spencer/Columbus Wrestling.

Finishing a close second was Jada Eggebrecht of Phillips Girls Basketball, with 491 votes.

Third place went to Sophia Coker of Athens Girls Basketball, with 270 votes.

Fourth place went to Kyla Krause of Medford Gymnastics with 231 votes.

In fifth place was Lucas Yeske of Auburndale Boys Basketball with  146 votes.
