Spencer boys basketball falls at Gilman

GILMAN – Nate Karau had 25 points and 11 rebounds for Spencer in a 75-55 loss to Gilman in Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball action Thursday night at Gilman High School.

Karau made 10 of 17 shots from the field and 5 of 8 free throws to total his team-high 25 points for the Rockets, who call to 4-6 overall and 4-5 in the Cloverbelt East.

Austin Bacon added 16 points and five rebounds for Spencer.

Dallas Skabroud had 25 points to lead four Gilman players in double figures. The Pirates are now 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the Cloverbelt East.

Spencer plays at Granton on Friday.
