Spencer and Loyal Seniors Honored with Banners, Signs

(OnFocus) High school seniors in Loyal and Spencer are being placed front and center with special banners to honor their accomplishments.

The banners featuring senior photos were hung along Main Street in both communities.

Organizer Tracy Bauer said she presented the idea to a Facebook group for the community of Loyal, to recognize seniors while COVID-19 has put a halt on graduation ceremonies and normal end-of-year activities.

Since her Spencer massage business was closed due to the pandemic, Bauer used the extra time to coordinate the effort and contacted the City of Loyal and Village of Spencer to get the banners together, made possible through donations.

In Loyal, seniors were also recognized through lawn signs printed by Premier Printing in Marshfield. One sign was displayed at the high school and the other delivered to students’ houses.
