The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook due to snow expected Monday night. Marshfield is expected to get over half an inch of snow.

A light snow will develop in central and north-central Wisconsin later in the evening which may cause slippery roads across much of the area. This central region is expected to get slightly less snowfall than surrounding areas of the state, which may expect up to or more than one inch of snowfall.

Those traveling Monday night should be prepared for slippery roads and poor visibility at times. Though the snowfall is expected to end by daybreak on Tuesday, the slippery conditions may persist during morning commutes.
