Help You Sell, LLC Assists Homeowners with Selling Process

Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) New to the Marshfield business scene, “Help You Sell, LLC” assists homeowners in preparing their homes for the real estate market.

“We are sisters who love helping people,” said Mary Carney, owner alongside her sister, Caren Alsides. “We just started this business this past November. We have remodeled, restored, and resold two homes over the past few years, but decided to focus more on the finishing touches as we have more recently helped family and friends prepare their homes for sale.”

Carney and Alsides enjoy helping people through what can often be a very stressful transition and helps them to get the best offers possible. They aim to make homes clean, warm, and welcoming.

“Our services are based on the most-requested realtor’s recommendations: decluttering, cleaning, painting and staging. We can also work on commercial spaces,” Carney said. “We offer free consultations and our services are reasonably priced.”

Carney and Alsides highlight the following areas in their work:

• Decluttering: We bring our own boxes with labels and packing materials to clear a space so that potential buyers can clearly see the home, not the extra stuff.

• Cleaning: We clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, carpets and appliances to make the house look its best. We provide all of our own supplies and equipment. We can clean homes pre-sale and post-sale so all you have to worry about is moving into your new home.

• Painting: We offer interior painting, from one room to an entire house. We can also remove wallpaper and repair walls before painting so walls will look their best. Another service is our mini makeovers: refinishing and painting kitchen and bathroom cabinets or adding tiled backsplashes for an updated look.

• Staging: We can stage any room in the house: living room, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, office or nursery. Our style is clean, simple, and welcoming providing good room flow. We have a few beautiful, brand new furniture items to compliment pieces you already have to complete a fresh, tidy, inviting look.

After helping friends and family prepare their homes for sale, the sisters realized that there was a niche for assisting people through the stressful home-selling process. “One need we see in our community is family having to move an elderly parent out of the family home. We can help them through this difficult process,” says Alsides.

“We found that people are often overwhelmed to get their home ready for sale and to complete their realtor‘s checklists in a short period of time,” said Carney. “Our services are professional, thorough and efficient.”

Realizing that there was interest and encouragement for this type of work in the Central Wisconsin area, Carney and Alsides left their full-time jobs to start the business.

“Jobs have been steady since day one,” said Carney. “We have always had our own home improvement projects going on such as refinishing hardwood floors, remodeling bathrooms, reconfiguring layouts, tiling backsplashes, painting and redecorating.  With this business, we can share our skills and focus on the finishing touches.”

With a passion for the work and for helping people, Alsides and Carney are happy to assist with any job large or small.  Fully insured, they offer hourly rates for decluttering and cleaning and painting rates based upon square footage and monthly and weekly staging prices based upon which rooms need a special touch to create a warm, welcoming, and cheerful home.

“We love the updates that a little elbow grease can accomplish,” said Carney. “We are based in Marshfield and can travel within a 45 mile radius which includes Stevens Point, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids.”
