Rae Baxter’s is celebrating 70 years this year in the Marshfield community and though it’s been a rough year, owner Carol Knauf said it’s loyal customers that have kept her in business all these years.
“We are so grateful to those who choose to shop local and support local,” said Knauf. “This year has been tough on everyone, but together we are able to survive.”
Offering a wide variety of women’s fashions, Rae Baxter’s has been a longtime trendsetter in Central Wisconsin, with shoppers coming from throughout the area to seek fashion fun and tips from Knauf and her team.
“I think people are often surprised by the amount of quality clothing and accessories we offer,” said Knauf. “There are so many great gift ideas for any woman on your list here, and we hope people will consider us this holiday season.”
To thank everyone that supports local and encourage local holiday shopping, Rae Baxter’s will be featuring weekly specials throughout the holiday season. Starting November 9-14, winter coats are 25% off, with a daily coat featured at 50% off.
“As people start to think about holiday shopping, we hope that they will consider their small downtown shops and other local businesses,” said Knauf. “There is so much that Marshfield offers and we invite everyone to come check it out!”
