Amherst (OnFocus) – Tristan Shelvan ran for three touchdowns and threw for three more as Amherst rolled over Shiocton in CWC-Large play, 47-6.

Shelvan had touchdown runs of 14, 44, and 32 yards, and picked up 183 yards on 13 carries.

Shelvan also threw for three scores, with tosses of 29 and 26 yards to Ian Hall and a 22 yard toss to Carmelo Aleman. 16 of 26 passes for 224 yards gave Shelvan a 407 yard performance on the night.

Shelvan’s incredible numbers come one week after he accounted for three touchdowns in the Falcons’ big win over new CWC-Large rival Stratford. Shelvan’s efforts earned the signal-caller recognition from OnFocus readers with the OnFocus Athlete of the Week for Week 4.

Aleman had 4 receptions for 78 yards, with Hall catching 5 passes for 93 yards.

The win moves Amherst to 5-0, alone in first place atop the CWC-Large.
